PROJECT SUMMARY

The project was aimed on capacity building and methodological support in digitalization for NGOs and education institutions of Dnipropetrovsk region. 20 representatives of NGOs and universities were selected to improve their knowledge in online instruments and gain skills of digital work. The trainers Nelia Lebid and Yuliia Breus developed the training program and made the maintenance of participants during their learning and providing of own events.

It was provided with support of European Union and the program «COVID-19: Civil Society Resilience and Sustainability» of Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation.

PROJECT ACTIVITIES

The project included 4 stages:

1. Survey. The project team developed the survey to make the selection, define the needs of participants and make the summary analysis. It was needed to make the program more useful, interesting and adapted.
2. Online training "Digital and facilitation methods in youth work". It lasted for 3 days and combined facilitation methods in digital world, emotional connection through digital involvement, creation space for Online education - group work, individual approach, partners' experience exchange Lab, psychological support of youth in online learning - challenges, practical cases. Participants worked individually, in groups and will have theoretical and practical cases.
3. Local activities. Participants organized separate offline and online events to share developed methodology and involved other members of their universities and NGOs into the project results dissemination.
4. Toolkit. Project Toolkit is applied to regional authority to be recommended for involvement regional into educational recommendations for formal and non-formal institutions. It was developed according the needs of participants and using the results of provided local activities.

 

As a result of the project organizations representatives gained skills and knowledge how to deal with youth in digital environment and received useful Toolkit for their activities. Training of the participants became multipliers of gained skills in their organizations and communities.
